I've been wondering whether or not a trailer will drop this weekend. The Maze Runner seems like a possible candidate. Any predictions?

I hope he finds out about the ARG, finds it hilarious, and decides to play along ala Swamp Pop last time. I will buy some bread!

Cloverfield / [OOG] The real Mark Stambler.

A wonderful side-story as a meta-level of the actual Cloverfield ARG.

This is Mark Stambler.

People claimed to hear in distorted transmissions of Tagruato the name "Mark Stambler" (Howard Stambler was character of "10 Cloverfield Lane" and its ARG as well). They googled. They found Mark Stambler - a baker, a nice guy with wonderful bread skills and absolutely OutOfGame. People from Discord mailed him with amounts of questions, so the end of the story was: *drummroll*

Mark Stambler, a baker, was yesterday night personally in Discord chat and spoke with people. About bread. Everybody was happy with this. Even if he couldn't contribute to the ARG researches. Because he is a baker. A famous baker with the name Mark Stambler.

Such events is what I love about ARGs. At the search for fictional worlds you discover the real one. The most important thing is: to respect the reality in the search for answers.

Here is his homepage: http://stamblersbread.com/index.html
Don't bother him, unless you want to know, how to bake a perfect bread.

OK, people, we've a nice update of Tagruato.
A error again, but with another background.

Error text:

Quote
Browser Incompatibility  415 Unsupported Media Type
Unhandled exception has occured in your browser. The page was not loaded properly due to an unexpected error.

message contents:
Expected(col;load;running?=HUI239BT?live%--D'nt--d0--17.=--..,.,n-000102087393)

D'nt--d0--17 sounds like l33t for "Don't do it".

In the background we see some news from Tagruato page.

Some minutes later the background became static

I definitely thought that as well. Could be a message saying don't launch...
Had another thought about the pre vs. live part of the error. Long shot, but maybe once we find this guy he could go "live" on a youtube page at certain times pertaining to the code established?

Another interesting feature of the background image are the company logos on the bottom of the press release, which match what can be seen on archived Tagruato pages from previous ARGs:

For archival sake, in case there is a pattern with the error messages, these are the different "message contents" that showed up on the error box at tagruato.jp:

January 18:
Code: [Select]
06110-.,&0tm_auth=6lOH7iMgYrWnr6ciiW69zg&gt6_pre2028%-66*nt--d0--18.=--..,.,n-0061026873966
January 19:
Code: [Select]
06110-.,&0tm_auth=iiWcii7iMgYrWnr6ciiW69zg&gt6_pre2028%-66*nt--d0--18.=--..,.,n-00610268739661
January 24:
Code: [Select]
Expected(col;load;running?=HUI239BT?live%--D*nt--d0--17.=--..,.,n-000102087393)
The most interesting pattern here is the similarity between the % sections of the messages:

Code: [Select]
%-66*nt--d0--18.=--..,.,n-0061026873966
%-66*nt--d0--18.=--..,.,n-00610268739661
%--D*nt--d0--17.=--..,.,n-000102087393

Additionally, the first two error messages are presented as the error that the site reported, while the third error message is presented as Expected(...). That is, the first two messages are like "here is the error we got", and the third message is like "here is what we had expected".
